Follow Up Text Process

Send a text message 2 hours after your Consult with the text below: 


“Hey FIRST NAME, just wanted to check-in and find out how you’re feeling about our call earlier?”


Outcomes:

  1. Positive response (I’m feeling good, excited etc)

  2. Neutral or Negative response (I’m nervous, I’m not sure this is the right thing…)

  3. No response



Scenario #1:  Positive Response


Ignore it until the day of the follow-up.  Then send the following: 


“Awesome, sounds good - still on for our call at 4pm CST?”



Scenario #2:  Neutral or Negative Response


For example, perhaps they say “That’s a heck of a lot of money and a lot to think about”


Text the Founder back and separate them into individual texts so it doesn’t seem like an automated text.


Text #1: Haha I can appreciate that…


Text #2: Nerves and a little bit of overwhelm are a normal feeling to have 

when you’re on the edge of making a shift to grow your business.


Text #3: Sleep on it and let’s not make any decisions for now…


Text #4: We can talk about if this is the right thing (and if so, when is the right 

time) when we check in tomorrow.


No worries either way 💪



Scenario #3:  No Response


Text then an hour or two before the scheduled follow-up with just a “?”
