Pre Consult Confirmation Call Script

Pre Consult Confirmation Call Script

FOUNDER:  Hello

SAM:  Hey [Founder Name],  it’s [Your Name] with

Outsourced Doers, how are you doing?

FOUNDER:  I’m well thanks.

SAM:  Great!  I’m just calling because you booked an

Outsourcing Call with us for tomorrow to look at bringing on a virtual assistant to help you grow your business.

So I just want to do a quick confirmation and ask you a couple of quick questions.  So I have you confirmed for 2pm Central Time tomorrow.  It is a 45 minute call.  Does that still work for you?

Yes.

If the Founder can’t do that time, will be driving/distracted or won’t have the full 45 minutes available:

SAM:  We’ll definitely need that focused time for the full 45

minutes so I’m happy to help you reschedule to another time that works for both of us if you can’t shuffle and free up that time in your schedule?

Reschedule Call

SAM:  Second question - are you the solo Founder and the

only one who’s making decisions in your business?  Or is there a business partner or life partner involved who would need to be on the call?

If they have a business partner…

FOUNDER:  Yes, I do have a business partner but she won’t join this

call.

SAM:  Great, we’ll definitely need them on the call because

we want to make sure the Strategy Plan is something that works for both of you.  Did you want to reschedule or just ask them really quick if they can join us on the call tomorrow?

Reschedule Call or commit the partner

Note: If you can’t reschedule in the next 48 hours, then just proceed with the call with the one Founder to avoid losing the opportunity altogether.

If there are tasks listed on their Application Form

SAM:  Cool.  Now I was just going through the details you

provided in your Application Form and I can see you’re wanting help with [insert what they want help with from their Application Form] …

  •  Is that the main reason you’re looking for a Virtual Assistant?

  • Have you tried building these yourself?

  • (Generalised question that will invoke a yes/no response)

If there’s no tasks listed on their Application Form

SAM:  What is the main reason you’re looking for a Virtual

Assistant?  Have you got an idea of the main tasks you’d like to outsource?

Note:  We’re looking for any huge red flags around someone who just wants a “Coder” or who just wants someone to do Paid Ads or Sales Calls etc and will disqualify them if needed.

Don’t disqualify Founders who aren’t sure, or just include something out of scope in a larger list of what they’d like their Doer to do.  It’s our job in the Consult to show them all the ways a Doer can help!

If no website or solid resources in Application Form

SAM:  I was going through your Application ahead of our call,

and I can see your Facebook link here but just didn’t know if you have a website as well?  I just want to make sure I can do a deep dive before our chat tomorrow…

FOUNDER:  Actually that’s what I need help with because I’m a

start-up - I don’t a website yet.  Isn’t that what your Doer does?

SAM:  Sure, so that’s certainly something we can chat through

tomorrow, I just wanted to make sure I have everything I can, got all my ducks in a row ahead of time so that we can use the most of our 45 minutes together.

So I’ll give you a call tomorrow at 2pm Central standard.  It’s generally best to be somewhere quiet where you can take notes because we’re going to cover a lot together and pull together an action plan.  I’ve got some really good stuff here for you actually so I’m looking forward to sharing it with you!

FOUNDER:  Oh great, me too.

SAM:  Thanks [Founder Name] and I look forward to chatting with

you tomorrow.

If the Founder starts asking too many questions that require larger conversations and are better left for the Consult…

SAM:  Yes, that’s a really good question and I want to dive into

that because it’s important.

I’m writing it down so I can add it to the Blueprint I’ve created for you tomorrow.

It deserves a proper conversation so I’ve got this note here and let’s chat about that more in our scheduled call tomorrow.
